About us
Santhigiri Ayurveda &Siddha Hospital is a unit of Santhigiri Health care and Research Organisation based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The institution initiated by Navajyothisree Karunakara Guru, the founder Guru of Santhigiri Ashram, inside a humble thatched hut, had grown considerably through the years. It now runs two medical colleges and a chain of Hospitals all over India and abroad.
Navajyothisree Karunakara Guru Research Centre for Ayurveda &Siddha established at the ancestral home of late Shri.K.R .Narayanan, former president of India, is involved in standardising the drug formulation as well as the treatment practises of Ayurveda & Siddha Systems. As an appreciation to our research activities we are recognised by department of Science & Technology as social scientific & industrial research organization (SIRO) vide declaration No: 14/435/2006 –TU_V dated 13/12/2006.
Ayurveda & Siddha systems concentrate on curative as well as preventive aspects.
Santhigiri’s mission on healthcare is based on an integration of Ayurveda & Siddha systems along with traditional Panchakarma therapy.
